Opening Soon: Rico Gatson: Visible Time' exhibition at 国产福利资源 Contemporary Art Museum
The 国产福利资源 Contemporary Art Museum in June presents presents 鈥淩ico Gatson: Visible Time.鈥� The Museum on the 国产福利资源 Tampa campus is part of the Institute for Research in Art in the 国产福利资源 College of The Arts.
Brooklyn-based artist Rico Gatson for more than two decades been celebrated for his vibrant, colorful, and layered artworks. The multimedia visual artist has been inspired by significant moments in African American history, identity politics and spirituality, according to the musuem.
The event, which runs from June 2 to July 29, is free of charge and open to the public.
鈥淩ico Gatson: Visible Time鈥� is curated by Christian Viveros-Faun茅 and organized by the 国产福利资源 Contemporary Art Museum. The exhibition is supported in part by the Florida Department of State, Florida Arts & Culture.
