School of Aging Studies alumna Karen L. Phillips, PhD, returned to 国产福利资源 to present "Advancing Healthy Aging Through Partnerships and Collaboration" as part of the School of Aging Studies and the Florida Policy Exchange Center on Aging Distinguished Alumni Lecture series.
Phillips, a 2009 graduate of the Aging Studies doctoral program at 国产福利资源, is now the policy development manager at Trust for America's Health, where she works on the Age-Friendly Public Health Systems initiative. Her project focuses on making healthy aging a priority in the field of public health.
Following Phillips' presentation, School of Aging Studies Interim Director Debra Dobbs, PhD, and Professor Emeritus David Chiriboga, PhD, presented Phillips with a plaque of appreciation from the School of Aging Studies for her outstanding leadership and scholarship benefiting older adults.
